The wild WILD west

Reece has just turned six, and to celebrate we turned the garden into the wild west, and ten little cowboys and girls came round for some western fun.Cowboy inviteCake toppersWild westWild west 2Indian campCamp fireCraft tableBirthday boyAlex moustachRyan moustachMe moustachCowboy treatsCowboy treats 4Cowboy treats 3Cowboy treats 2 It was a lovely party, they MarshmallowsBuntingParty bagsall just got together and started acting out being cowboys. We hardly did any games as they were happy doing their own thing. When they were hungry they all sat round the paper campfire eating their cowboy treats and chatting away, it was so cute. I made Sheriff star biscuits, a paisley birthday cake, flapjacks and some other bits and pieces. Mostly sweet things, as I’ve found that the kids never eat the sandwiches and savory things at parties. I set up a craft table so they could all make a sheriff badge. This went really well, they all popped over at some point and covered their badges and me in glitter. Then just before the parents came we played a game where they had to throw a hula hoop over the rocking horse (zebra really, but he’s wearing a gingham neckerchief so that’s western enough for me). Ryan gave all the cowboys sweets whether they got the hoop over Zeddy or not, and the cowboys seemed happy with that arrangement. Smiley faces all round.
